This vehicle has less than 75,000 original miles on it (1). I bought it at 42,000 miles from the original owner seven years ago. I have some of the original papers including the window label (14) and owner's manual. The title is clear.
There are four almost brand new Goodyear Integrity tires mounted on this car, with less than 2,000 miles on them, in perfect condition (2). These alone cost almost $400. It also comes with an almost new battery.
Just short of 75,000 miles it developed a leak in the the gas tank seam. Deliberately running with very little gas, because of the leak, eventually caused the fuel pump to quit (yet another reason to keep your fuel tank full). By then my wife had bought herself a new car, giving us a total of four vehicles, so I did not want to repair this one. The repair estimate at the time was around $480 for a new gas tank, fuel pump, fuel pickup tube and labor.
I hate to see it go. The engine burned no oil at all and ran like a Swiss watch. I had just put on 4 brand new Goodyear tires. The gas mileage was over 25 mpg. It had an A/C that ran cold enough to chill beer; unfortunately the expansion tank now has a hole in it, so the A/C does not work.
One time a car pulled away from the curb without looking and hit the right front fender toward the front of the car. The damage can be seen in some of the photos (3) & (4). I patched the parking lamp lens and got inspection stickers for several years but now, as you can see, the cement has turned black, making the situation obvious (4). This vehicle will need a parking lamp lens.
This vehicle has very little rust considering its age. Check out the photos. Interior is in real good condition (5), apart from one crack in the vinyl dashboard. This split is about one and a half standard Ford ignition key lenghts long, and the width is about twice the thickness of the key.
With a bit of work this car could look as good as it did just a few years ago (8). Note: This is not a recent picture, unlike the others.
The picture of the engine compartment (13) does not show the fairly new battery that comes with this vehicle. It was removed because I could not run the engine to charge it. Car also comes with two extra stock hubcaps, not in perfect condition, but hard to find in any condition (7).
Owner Statement
I hesitated to list this car on eBay because I severely dislike the new eBay
rules that have things arranged so a small seller like me can no longer protect themselves from unscrupulous
buyers. I thought why risk perfect feedback for a few hundred dollars on an item that is not perfect? Anyway,
I decided to proceed, figuring nothing ventured, nothing gained. This is a good buy for the right buyer; why not
give that person an opportunity? So...here it is.

Important Information
This car must be picked up in person because I have no time or knowledge to arrange shipping. Location is northeastern Massachusetts, Essex County, about halfway between I95 and I495. This vehicle DOES NOT RUN due to bad fuel pump. GAS TANK LEAKS ALONG SEAM so it must be replaced. NEEDS RIGHT FRONT PARKING LAMP LENS (4) to get an inspection sticker. The A/C DOES NOT WORK (see above). The bill of sale will be marked, "Sold for Parts" and "Sold as is."
